Little help with map

Hey Skull, or anyone for that matter, I'm playing with aim_map_usp right now, and was working on putting a basement in. I already created the holes that let you faill for infinity, I just need to figure out how to get the basement in.

Knowing me, it's something I'm overlooking and is seriously easy to do.

basically you just need to create a "room" underneath the current map. There isn't really anything special to making a basement. it's done the same as making a regular floor, just you put it down lower. In the basement room, make walls that go up to the bottom of the ground floor. Then build another floor at the bottom of the basement walls.

Yeah uhh, I just figured that out. I knew it was something that was easy enough that I'd overlook.

I seriously got pissed over the holes. I did it the hard way, I edited the floor a little bit in the map, like for example, the floor used to look like this:

-------------

Now, I had to split the floor in like 2 sections to turn it into this:
-- ___
----| |---
----|_|----

Except, imagine the lines make an actual box, seeing as I can't make a perfect box with dashes and those line thingys.

Good question, ask Skull. I tried to get Lilshorty to explain it to me, but we just went with the hard way instead seeing as we failed trying the unexistant easy way.

lol kk.. I tried all kind of shit to make it work.

to make a hole, draw a block the size of the hole you want, and have it go all the way through the floor.

Once you have the block made, select the new block, then press ctrl+shift+c This will cut a hole in the floor the size of the new block you made. Once you are done, you can delete the block you made
